Pacific Specialty's OneSpot website allows many routine functions to be done online: |

|
|
TO QUOTE & BIND: |
- Enter your log in credentials in the provided fields on the lower right hand side of
the home page
- Once the credentials are typed in, click the "Sign In" button.
- The landing page will provide several button options on the left hand side. Choose
"Get a Quote" to quote new business.
- Once "Get a Quote" is selected, further program options will populate in a drop down
menu. This drop down menu will list all the various program types that you are
authorized to write.
- Select the program, and you're off.
- Each program generally has a series of underwriting qualification questions. These
questions are designed to pre-qualify the risk prior to the quote process.
- Once the questions are answered, click "submit" and the quote process will commence.
- Please note that the program underwriting guidelines are available through
the "Quick Links" button located on the left hand side of the landing page.
- Walking through a property quote: After you have selected your program and have worked
through the underwriting questions, you will need to determine the appropriate
dwelling value. (coverage A limit)
- To determine the appropriate dwelling value (Coverage A limit), click on the
"calculate" button located next to "dwelling value".
- Select the appropriate dwelling category, if applicable, from the pull-down
menu at the top of the page.
- Input the living area of the dwelling in terms of square feet.
- Indicate the size of the attached garage (if applicable) in the next pull-down
menu.
- Indicate the total of combined size of any attached patios, porches, decks or
carports in the next pull down menu.
- Input the number of fireplaces in the dwelling.
- Click the "Accept Value" button to return to the quote screen. Please note
that if the calculated dwelling value is below or above the program dwelling limits,
you will not be able to return to the quote screen. PSIC will only write Coverage A
limits within the set ranges set on each program. Please see "Program Guidelines"
for limit eligibility.
- When all required information is complete click "Get Quote."
- You can continue to change/update information and select various optional coverages
and discounts as many times as necessary.
- Click "Re-Quote" to update.
- When satisfied, click "Create Application" to proceed.
- Provide mortgagee information on this page, if any, and click "Continue Application"
to proceed.
- Select a payment method from the pull-down menu, or select "Do NOT buy online –
prepare application only" to print a populated application without binding coverage.
Use this method to submit an application with an accompanying check.
- Available payment methods are the insured's credit card, the insured's EFT
information for their checking account, or the producer's EFT account (if set-up
with PSIC)
- Select a payment plan.
- Enter credit card or EFT information, and click the "Buy with…" button at the bottom
of the page.
- Click the "Bind Policy" button on the next screen to purchase coverage and issue the
policy. THE POLICY IS NOT BOUND UNTIL THIS BUTTON IS CLICKED.
- The policy is now bound. Use the pull-down menu located in the top-right corner of
the screen to select "Print Application." PSIC requires a signed application for
every policy issued. Additionally, in California, you must review the Residential
Property Insurance Disclosure form with the insured and obtain the insured's
signature. Therefore, it is very important that you print, sign and date the
application, along with the insured, and mail the application to PSIC, even if you
paid via credit card or EFT.
- On this screen, you can also download and print the policy declarations page, fax
the declarations page and print a credit card receipt, all using the same pull-down
menu.
- PSIC will print and mail the policy declarations page, policy form and all applicable
endorsements directly to the insured, along with the mandatory earthquake offer if
earthquake coverage was not purchased. The producer and mortgagee (if applicable)
will receive a copy of the declarations page only.
- Producer can always access all policy forms and endorsements by clicking the
"Quick Links" button on the left hand side of the landing page.
- Producer can also always access policy applications and declaration pages
through the "Policy Inquiry" function on the producer home page.
- PSIC will also arrange for a physical inspection of each dwelling subsequent to the
policy being bound. PSIC will notify the insured and producer of any items discovered
during the inspection that require attention.

QUOTE LOOKUP AND POLICY INQUIRY: |
- Enter your log in credentials in the provided fields on the lower right hand side of
the home page
- Once the credentials are typed in, click the "Sign In" button.
- By clicking on the "Inquiry" button, located on the left hand side of the landing
page, you will see two (2) options that can assist you with prior activity. "Quote
Lookup" and "Policy Lookup".
- By selecting "Quote Lookup", you will be able to access all completed quotes up to
60-days old.
- By selecting "Policy Lookup", you can access all in-force policies that you have
placed with PSIC.

MAKE AN ONLINE PAYMENT: |
There are two (2) facilities that can be utilized for On-Line Payments, consumer direct or producer
assisted.
|
Consumer Direct:
- Select "Make a payment" from the Policyholder Corner located on the lower left hand
side of the home page.
- This will prompt the consumer to enter their policy number and Zip code
- Once completed, they will need to click "Submit".
- The consumer will be directed to a simple screen that identifies the amount due,
in addition, it will reflect the balance due for the entire policy term if applicable.
- The Consumer will select the payment amount
- A Credit Card Information box will be present directly under the payment information
section.
- Select type of card from the drop down menu and type in the credit card number.
- If the credit card is not in the name of the Insured, please indicate that by
answering "Yes" or "No" in the provided field.
- Once complete, Click "Submit".
- This will bring you to a payment information confirmation screen.
- Once confirmed, click "Submit" and you're all done.
- A confirmation receipt screen will populate and will also be emailed to the email
address provided during the transaction.

Producer Assisted:
- Enter your log in credentials in the provided fields on the lower right hand side of the home page.
- Once the credentials are typed in, click the "Sign In" button.
- Select "Inquiry" from the button menu located on the left hand side of the landing page.
- Select "Policy Lookup".
- Key in the applicable populated fields for policy inquiry
- Once the policy in pulled up, note the drop down option in the upper right hand side.
- Select "Payment History".
- "Payment History" will show outstanding balances related to the policy.
- Select "Make A Payment". This is located directly under the amount due.
- Select payment method (Producers EFT account or Policyholders Credit Card)
- Compete the populated fields and select "Pay with EFT" or "Pay with Card" based on the chosen method.

REPORT AN ON-LINE CLAIM: |
- Select "Report a claim" from the Policyholder Corner located on the lower left hand
side of the home page.
- Once selected, a pop up box will populate asking for the policy number.
- Type in the policy number and click on "Submit".
- New window will populate in which there will be a series of questions that will be
required when using this platform to report a claim.
- Once completed, Click "Submit Claim".
- A confirmation screen will populate. This confirmation will also be emailed to the
email address provided during the claim reporting

DOWNLOAD GUIDELINES & FORMS: |
- Enter your log in credentials in the provided fields on the lower right hand side of
the home page
- Once the credentials are typed in, click the "Sign In" button. /li>
- Click on "Quick Links" located on the left hand side of the landing page. /li>
- Select "Guidelines and Forms" from the drop down menu/li>
- Click on the appropriate link in the first paragraph to select the desired section.
Then click on the appropriate form or function in that section. /li>
NOTE: Most forms are designed to be opened in Adobe Acrobat.

REVIEW BILLINGS AND REINSTATEMENTS.: |
- Enter your log in credentials in the provided fields on the lower right hand side of
the home page.
- Once the credentials are typed in, click the "Sign In" button.
- Click on the "My OneSpot" button on the left hand side of the landing page.
- Click on "Reports"
- Select the desired report

ZIP CODE INQUIRY AND VIN LOOKUP: |
- Enter your log in credentials in the provided fields on the lower right hand side
of the home page.
- Once the credentials are typed in, click the "Sign In" button.
- Click on the "Quick Links" button located on the left hand side of the landing page.
- Select "ZIP Code / VIN Lookup"
- Click of the desired functionality

ELECTRONIC CORRESPONDENCE |
This feature will allow policyholder notices (Billings, Renewals, Reinstatements, etc.) to post to our
website where they may viewed and/or printed.
- Enter your log in credentials in the provided fields on the lower right hand side
of the home page.
- Once the credentials are typed in, click the "Sign In" button.
- Click on the "My OneSpot" button on the left hand side of the landing page.
- Select "e-Correspondence" from the drop down menu.
- Simply follow the instructions to begin using this feature.

PROCESS AN ONLINE ENDORSEMENT: |
- Enter your log in credentials in the provided fields on the lower right hand side of
the home page.
- Once the credentials are typed in, click the "Sign In" button.
- Retrieve the policy to be endorsed by either policy number, insured's telephone number
or name
- Select "Endorse Online" from the "Policy & Print" functions. (If the option is not
available indicates that the policy cannot be endorsed online at this time.)
- Check the requested endorsement. (Note: if different type of endorsement use the
"Endorse Request" option.)
- Click on "Process Endorsement(s)"
- Provide the information to be endorsed.
- If no rating is required: (i.e. Mortgagee Endorsements)
- Review endorsement, if acceptable click on "Apply Endorsement(s)"
- When you are finished, click on "Post Endorsement(s)"
- If rating is required:
- Click on "Rate Endorsement(s)".
- Review endorsement premium and if acceptable, click on "Apply Endorsement(s)".
- Enter "Payment Information" and click on the appropriate payment method. "Post"
(credit card or EFT).
- To complete the endorsement click on "Post Endorsement(s).
